The eighth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm came to a close last night, as Larry's neurosis-spewing tenure in New York wound down in spectacularly inappropriate fashion. David finds himself facing down none other than beloved actor and Parkinson's advocate Michael J. Fox (who was diagnosed with the disease in 1991), and since no cow is too sacred for David, the disease is ripe for the mocking. David draws a Hitler mustache on Fox's father-in-law on the cover of a magazine ("I just like to see what people look like with Hitler mustaches!"), which spurs Fox to retaliate with a suspiciously carbonated bottle of soda...

Mayor Bloomberg also had a brief cameo, chastising David for his rude behavior: “I’m not going to stand here here and listen to anybody denigrate Michael J. Fox. He’s a great New Yorker and a great American.” Bloomberg then puts on his very finest Acting Face and kicks David out of New York, telling him, "I’m here to put you out of this city. Get out of town.”

Fans seemed generally pleased with this season, with Curb message boards filling up with praise and fans tweeting their approval: @CanadianWinter summed it up with "Last night's #CurbYourEnthusiasm was a masterpiece in writing. Was there anybody left that they didn't offend?"
