We've all been there. You are waiting for a train on the subway platform and not only does your ride home not seem to come, the lights in the tunnel seem to taunt you with the possibility that the train might be coming. But it just won't. And now, thanks to some fine UCB East comedians, we know why. It isn't that the train doesn't want to come and give you a ride home—it is just that it is scared. A scared D train, if you will. Get it?
Ah, nothing like an anthropomorphized subway train to lighten your Monday afternoon, right? There's lots we enjoy about this little short (written, shot and edited in a single day for UBC East's monthly Sketch Cram) but our favorite part is probably the simple truth that "you can't talk to [the D] that way, it's not the Q train!" Truth.
