The newly released trailer for Sharknado 2 is just 20 seconds long, and it moves fast to distract you from the low budgetness of it all. But slow down and you'll find those 20 seconds are jam packed with New York City landscapes. Real ones, not miniature ones made from taped together scrap paper. You'll see Citi Field, Times Square, and what looks like a real subway station! Meaning Sharknado 2 is more authentic NYC than some productions with a little more scratch, like The Mindy Project. A terrifying truth.
Check it out below, blink and you'll miss the part where a giant shark lands directly on top of a woman on a Citi Bike. That's what you get for riding on the sidewalk.
