Check out this intersection in old New York City—can you guess what year and neighborhood this photo was taken in? Cobblestones, old ads, streetcars... there are lots of indicators here! As usual, we'll update later today with details.
UPDATE: This photo was taken in 1915 on 42nd Street, "looking east from the 42nd Street Ferry at 12th Avenue," according to the MCNY. Presumably this was the ferry that connected 42nd Street in Manhattan to Broadway in Williamsburg (though that route was discontinued in 1909), amongst other areas.
