Yesterday, an irate resident of Fort Greene posted a note on the filming notice that told the television crew of Brooklyn Taxi that they were no longer welcome in the neighborhood. Today, the film crew issued something resembling an apology for the inconvenience.

"This our Neighborhood. We live here. We are real people. With real lives. Please finish your shoot and don't come back. You're not welcome here," said the original note.

"We recognize your community is a working and active neighborhood and we will be out of your way as soon as possible," the television show's location department posted on lampposts around the neighborhood.

But is that really an apology? Seems like more of a passive-aggressive #sorrynotsorry for filming in your beautiful neighborhood and employing all these people. Your move, Fort Greene.
