Thanks to the blizzard—and the fact that NYC public school students have winter recess—the Parks Department has just announced a Snow Day for tomorrow! At parks in each borough, there will be "FREE, supervised outdoor recreation and winter fun for youth, including sledding, snowman and snow angel contests, friendly snowball fights, music and complimentary hot chocolate." Also, "Urban Park Rangers will provide winter walks and nature activities." Here are the parks where the activities will be held:
Bronx: Crotona Park (Fulton Avenue and East 172nd Street)/11:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m.
Brooklyn: Prospect Park (near the Tennis House)/11:00a.m. —3:00 p.m.
