The New Yorker Festival is returning to—suprise!— New York City on the first weekend of October (4th-6th). The always popular three-day gathering of famous people and artists across film, television, fashion, food, and literature soared new heights two years ago by the Arrested Development cast reunion.

Tickets for the panels go on sale September 13th (with a pre-sale on the 12th for Mastercard® holders), and they sell out very fast, so be diligent. The full schedule will be released on the 16th, and a festival app (there's always an app) is currently available.

Some teasers for this year: an advance screening of Aziz Ansari's new comedy special airing on Netflix, Buried Alive, "An Evening with Funny or Die" hosted by the funny Billy Eichner (of Billy on the Street fame), Ray from Girls (!), a talk about the God Particle, interviews with Marina Abramović, Ethan Hawke, Christoph Waltz, Paul Simon and much more.

Snag your tickets at noon on the Friday, September 13th, from http://festival.newyorker.com/. A limited number of tickets will be available at the doors (with some exceptions) and last minute tickets will be sold on Friday, October 4th, from 12 noon to 4 P.M., at MasterCard Stage at SVA Theatre, 333 West 23rd Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues).
