To celebrate their new It's So Miami tourism campaign, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau have brought a pop-up pool and deck to the Union Square Park (which we've personally always considered to be the South Beach of the Northeast) and they're inviting New Yorkers to see what they're missing down in the Cruise Ship Capital of the World. (No swimming allowed.)
Expect fine Miami staples like models in bikinis, palm trees, chaise lounges, beach balls, salsa dancers, Cuban coffee and DJs; Dancing With The Stars's Karina Smirnoff will also make an appearance. Yes, THE Karina Smirnoff.
