It's also time to give props to the wacky Hollywood Foreign Press Association for nominating The Simpsons and recognizing its brilliance as a Best Comedy contender, rather than what the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (aka the people behing the Emmys) do, which is put The Simpsons in the animated cartoon category.
