nbc_logo.jpgThis week the peacock network released its mid-season lineup. There are is a bit of shifting going on, but none of the Law & Order shows will be shifting timeslots.

The first change is yet another Dateline NBC edition taking Friday Night Lights' Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. slot starting on December 26th. Friday Night Lights moves to Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. starting January 10th. Deal or No Deal moves into the Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. slot starting January 3rd.

The biggest change is to Sundays, due to the departure of Sunday Night Football. Two shows of local interest will be replacing two of the football game’s hours. Grease: You're the One That I Want, the American Idol meets Broadway reality shot what we mentioned earlier this week, starts on January 7th with 90 minute episodes for the first two weeks. It will be followed by the sixth outing of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice, which will also be getting the 90 minute treatment for its first fortnight back. When both shows go to the one hour format on January 21st, The Apprentice will be followed by the return of Crossing Jordan, starting former Law & Order ADA Jill Hennessy.

So will the Donald be able to evict the residents of Wisteria Lane from their ratings penthouse? NBC is betting it will and is hoping the payoff will be yooge.
