PaleyFest NYC—one of the most prominent television events of the year, featuring showcases, reunions and panels for new, classic and upcoming programs—is returning to the city in October for a two-week festival. And it's bringing a lot of very popular shows with it, including The Walking Dead, Murphy Brown, Drunk History, Documentary Now! and the premiere of the hotly debated Roseanne spin-off The Conners.
The festival will take place between October 5th and 18th at The Paley Center For Media in Midtown Manhattan. Among the highlights: a panel discussion with Candice Bergen about the resurrected Murphy Brown; a live screening of the premiere episode of The Conners with the cast; a full cast panel for The Good Fight; a sneak peak at the next season of Bill Hader, Fred Armisen & John Mulaney's Documentary Now!; a Drunk History panel; David Tenant talks about his career and also previews the upcoming Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman adaptation of Good Omens; and a Walking Dead panel that includes the new showrunner Angela Kang (and Daryl, everyone still loves Daryl I think). There's also a special workshop entitled, "How to Break into Acting on Television," happening on October 13th.
"The team from Documentary Now! is looking forward to being a part of this year's PaleyFest NY and providing fans of the show with a lively and entertaining discussion as we provide a first look at the documentaries highlighting Season 3," said John Mulaney.
