While exploring I noticed this page with pictures of sculptures by Tom Otterness. Otterness, an apparently Brooklyn-based sculptor, has a number of works on public display around the City. Otterness is known for his bronze sculptures of cartoonish figures that inhabit a "delightfully loopy narrative world".
More infomation and pictures of his installations at

Some of his work seems to be available for reasonable prices. Time to get in on the ground floor?

Anyone want to see his upcoming exhibitions?

Incidentally, it turns out that the bronze bird sculptures in the Canal Street A/C/E station were not done by Otterness, as I had always assumed, but rather by a different pair of Brooklyn-based artists.
