The coming season, Shorts will be dedicating evenings to popular books and podcasts like Humans of New York, Sex Death and Money, as well as evenings hosted by favorite authors like Don DeLillo and Joy Williams, Michael Chabon, Edwidge Danticat and Sherman Alexie.
Thalia Book Club invites popular writers to come discuss their work or pay tribute to classics. We’re excited to be hosting Colum McCann in support of his new collection, a night celebrating David Rakoff with tributes and readings from his friends, Mary-Louise Parker with her literary debut, and Michael Ian Black’s new humor collection.
