It's January 7th, which can only mean one thing: it's summer festival lineup reveal season! Bonnaroo dropped their lineup today (which includes headliners Tame Impala, Lizzo, and Tool, as well as Nelly performing Country Grammar in full), and Coachella dropped their lineup a few days ago (with Rage Against The Machine, Frank Ocean & Travis Scott headlining). And now, Gothamist has confirmed who will be the main attractions at Governors Ball 2020: Tame Impala, Vampire Weekend, Stevie Nicks, and Miley Cyrus. That's right, this summer Nicks is gonna find her biggest hat and throw the most rocking seance Randall's Island has ever seen.

The rumored lineup was first reported by Consequence of Sound last night; Gothamist has independently confirmed it today. Other acts that will appear at this year's festival include Solange, Flume, and H.E.R.

This will be the Governors Ball debut for Nicks, Cyrus, and Solange. Vampire Weekend last played the fest in 2014, and Tame Impala last played it in 2015—you can check out their performance in full below.

Last year's festival, which included headliners Tyler, the Creator, and Florence + the Machine, went pretty well for the first two days until torrential rainstorm, lightning, and thunder ruined the closing night, causing it to be cancelled (The Strokes were supposed to headline the final night, alongside Nas and SZA).

The official announcement for this year's festival, and the full lineup, is expected to be announced later this week. Governor's Ball 2020 will take place at Randall’s Island Park from June 5th-7th. One new thing to note: this year the festival is instituting an 18+ age policy. Unfortunately that almost certainly rules out a surprise Fugazi reunion.
