MTV is readying to roll out their latest reality show, Jersey Shore, with promos already airing that describe their latest round of reality robots as keeping "their hair high, their muscles juiced and their fists pumping all summer long!" They also depict their Italian-American beach-going stars as the "hottest, tannest, craziest Guidos."

This is all getting the network in a bit of trouble, and it's being reported that one offended Italian-American organization is lobbying to get the show pulled before it airs on December 3rd. The group, UNICO National, says the show "relies on crude stereotypes and highlights cursing, bad behavior and violence in depicting renters at a New Jersey beach house." But wasn't it a Jersey Shore town's mayor who slammed Staten Island girls, and himself went on to explain that the "Guidos are tanned to the color of coconut shells and easily identified by their plumage: satin shirts and short skirts on the females; Armani Exchange T-shirts and artfully distressed jeans on the male."
