The good people of Sesame Street have just informed us they'll be holding an open casting call for "a new recurring Hispanic character" on Monday, August 20th. The character (males and females welcome to try out) will be between the ages of 18 and 25, and be fluent in both Spanish and English. Some more character notes:

Must be "comfortable with multiple Spanish dialects and accents. Good sense of humor. Must sing well, and comfortable with both physical and improvisational comedy. Actor should be warm, likable and engaging. Must be prepared to sing a cappella in Spanish and English."

Think you've got what it takes? Head to Roseland Ballroom on the 20th, where casting will be taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you land the part, you'll be able to go to the happiest street in the world every day, and work with actors like Jon Hamm, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Kristen Bell!
