Apparently Law & Order: SVU is doing an episode that involves a guy in a corn costume who rapes people! EatsDirt was nice enough to send in some shots of the crew filming on the corner of Canal and Varick downtown. Okay, fine-- the corn costume dude is probably not the actual perp-- knowing SVU, the plot is a lot more complex-- like the president of GenEng, a genetic food company, rapes one of his secretaries, and when the cops come looking for evidence, they encounter these protestors outside the office, and one of them gives them a lead indicating that the executive was really in the building late that night, even though he said he wasn't. Or something!
