This might be the best summer ever. The producers of Project Runway recognized that we need some more Tim Gunn in our life and have moved up the third season to premiere on July 12. The designers who have been filming the third season have been announced and four of them are from NYC - Long Island City represents! And don't worry, Daniel Franco isn't back for a third try.

The NY Post had scoop on the New Yorkers: Laura Bennett has five children, has no "formal training" (Marla redux?), and designs clothes and jewelry; Keith Michael is from Brooklyn, designs menswear, was named "best newcomer" by Sportwear International; Malan Breton does voiceover work and was named "one of 12 new designers to watch by Women's Wear Daily in 2005"; and Alison Kelly has a clothing line, Dahl. And we guess the finale will take place during the Spring 2007 fashion shows this fall. If you know anything more, let us know.

Bravo has an update from Daniel Vosovic about what he's up to now. We know this about Daniel V: He rides the express 2/3 train as we've seen him twice but been too chicken to say hi. And almost as exciting, the second season DVD of Project Runway comes out next week. You know that's what you're going to do during the July 4th weekend.
