There are eight more days left of the Stefan Bondell "Black Box" exhibit at the Hole on Bowery, which features large-scale paintings but also $1 million in US currency shredded and displayed on the floors. Certainly there is symbolic meaning to all of this, but it's also a good opportunity to empty your soul and roll around in money like Scrooge McDuck. 'Tis the season, and all that.

Photographer Nic Garcia was there today, and tells us, "You can walk all over it and do what you want, nobody watching, no crowds." He also says it smells like money. Not like your sad tin of dimes and nickels, either... real Fat Cat money.
