Elvis Fever; Photo - NYT So the art world is all over the case of an Andy Warhol painting is missing, stolen, or what. The painting is "Red Elvis," and Ralph Blumenthal follows it's provenance, or at least tries to. It paints an interesting picture of Peter Brant, the painting's current owner, a bizarre colorful character. Peter Brant is a publisher-entrepreneur and happens to be married to Stephanie Seymour, who is best known for her Victoria's Secret modeling and immortalization as Axl Rose's perfect woman in November Rain, that melodramatic power ballad about love that has an even more melodramatic video, complete with Slash leaving the wedding ceremony in the middle and going out to play some guitar. Aw, yeah.
