Two weeks after his death, there will be a public memorial to legendary rock and roll star Lou Reed in NYC on Thursday. The memorial will take place from 1-4 p.m. at the Paul Milstein Pool and Terrace at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side. "A gathering open to the public," it reads on his Facebook page. "No speeches. No live performances, just Lou's voice, guitar music & songs—playing the recordings selected by his family and friends."
