Thomas Crowne would approve. Last Thursday a brazen art thief strolled into the Marc Ecko art gallery on West 23rd Street, casually took a KAWS print ("Untitled - Calvin Klein") off a wall, rolled it up, put it in a tube he'd brought with him and strolled out the door. He was caught on camera—he even looked directly into one on the elevator—but was cleverly disguised with a moustache, dark shades, a tan baseball cap and a dark green hoodie.

The KAWS piece, which is an acrylic over a Calvin Klein ad featuring Kate Moss, is estimated to be worth $100,000. Police are asking anyone with information on the theft to call Crime Stoppers (1-800-577-TIPS). In the meantime though, we can't help but look at the thief's photo and swear we've seen him somewhere. Runnin' Scared thinks he looks like Matt Dillon, but he looks more like one of James Franco's clones to us...
