This morning, there were some extremely dramatic clouds over New York City that were PERFECT for Instagram. The words "apocalyptic," "Ghostbusters," "Dana Barrett" and "dickless" were thrown around:

WABC 7 meteorologist Bill Evans explained in a reply Tweet, "Very Cool Nimbo Cumulus, not seen very often." According to Wikipedia, the "Cumulonimbus... is a dense towering vertical cloud associated with thunderstorms and atmospheric instability, forming from water vapor carried by powerful upward air currents. Cumulonimbus can form alone, in clusters, or along cold front squall lines."
