Day one of the Panorama Music Festival drew a huge crowd of music lovers to Randall's Island on Friday, but the massive amount of people definitely put a strain on the proceedings.

In addition to the distressingly long security line at the East Gate entrance, as well as at several merchandise booths inside, several of the food lines stretched to nearly an hour long, and the waits to get into the corporate-sponsored "experiences" were too discouraging to even bother. On the upside: the free water stations, the booze booths, and the bathrooms were all readily available all day.

For the music portion, there are four stages: the Panorama stage, the Pavilion, The Point (this is a dance venue where quality DJs will be spinning all weekend), and the Parlor—by 5 p.m. on Friday, however, the latter had been closed for the night due to "technical difficulties," and scheduled acts Cherry Glazerr, Breakbot, and DJ Shadow were cancelled.

At the other stages, however, there was a lot of great music, with standout sets from Future Islands, Tyler the Creator, Girl Talk, Solange, and headliner Frank Ocean. Check out some of their performances below:
