On Tuesday night we hosted an event at Nitehawk to celebrate the classic Whit Stillman film Metropolitan, which was released about 22 years ago. Following the screening, Gothamist's Jen Chung moderated a Q&A with director Whit Stillman and actor Chris Eigeman. There were no tuxedos, but otherwise the event kept true to Stillman's style—no action packed bloodbath, just a lot of dialogue (and even more prosecco).
