This past weekend was the 7th Annual Dance Parade, which was created to "promote dance as an expressive and unifying art form by showcasing all forms of dance" as well as its diversity.
You may have seen the participants moving and shaking down Broadway and University Place and then along St. Mark's Place to Tompkins Square Park, where the big finale Dancefest was held. Here are some videos from the Saturday sambaing:
