The second day of Governors Ball 2015 started out with flashbacks for fans who were in attendance for the legendary mud piles of 2013. Organizers sent out emails this morning warning people that due to early morning rain, the grounds at Randall's Island had become wet and muddy in spots, and they should wear the appropriate footwear.

Thankfully, the weather was perfect on Saturday, and most people seemed to have heeded the warning (or didn't mind putting up with a little mud). Thousands of people enjoyed the big names of the day, including Ryan Adams (who mocked headliner Deadmau5), Conor Oberst, Bjork, Little Dragon, Sharon Van Etten, and Deadmau5 (who debuted a new stage setup and had some techinical issues).

The two standout bands were Flume and Future Islands, both of whom drew massive crowds—according to photographer Sean McGlynn, the area was packed 45 minutes before set time for Flume. Click through for lots of photos of the crowd and musicians.
