Every year, the Dyker Heights community bands together to transform their neighborhood into the craziest holiday lights display in the entire city. The annual display includes everything from blinged-out nativity scenes to blown-up Marvel superheroes, from glittery candy cane soldiers to sparkly candy cane front lawns. Behold the most complex and eye-catching displays up above, courtesy of photographer Sai Mokhtari.

Just look at how much fun this kitty is having!

A minor controversy was sparked around this year's display after some "No Parking" signs were put up around the neighborhood to make it easier for tour buses to transport thousands of people to the area. A compromise was arranged after locals became upset.

But if you want the full lowdown on how to get there and whether or not there are bathrooms available once you are there, check out our guide from last year.
