Steven Soderbergh is really handling retirement well: despite giving up filmmaking to work on painting, he's been hard at work transforming the Lower East Side into NYC of 1910 today for his latest project, The Knick. The Cinemax miniseries is set to star Clive Owen, and will tell the story of the Knickerbocker Hospital during the early 1900s. And Soderbergh will reportedly direct all the episodes of the miniseries!
