The winter weather has briefly subsided, but the bad news is the quick temperature shift has caused everything to melt, and that, paired with strong wind tunnels and tidal changes, has brought the warmer waters up to the northeast. What does this mean? The rare phenomenon known as a SHARKNADO is hitting us. But we knew this was coming.
The sequel to last summer's viral hit, called Sharknado 2: The Second One, has been filming in Times Square since yesterday, with stars Ian Ziering, Vivica A. Fox and ohmygod Mark McGrath is in this one. Also, Judd Hirsch has been (type)cast as a taxi driver for the NYC spin on the 2013 classic.
There have been no sharks on sticks spotted dangling from above during filming so far, so presumably those will be added by the network later out of their studio in that cereal box under the couch, giving it the full B-movie aesthetic that was so beloved the first time around. If you spot the Sharknado send us your photos/videos:
Filming probably won't last much longer, because how long can these things really take? So enjoy this time—it's gonna be so sad... when it's over...
