The 57th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade rolled through 5th Avenue today, with well over a million people estimated to have gathered in Manhattan to show their pride and take in the sights. Participants included Grand Marshals Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito; Mayor Bill de Blasio, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Senator Chuck Schumer, and a lot of other politicians; actress Lauren Velez; DJ Polito Vega; and actress and Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre founder Mirian Colon.
