Christmas belongs to Dyker Heights, but Carroll Gardens and the surrounding neighborhoods are the place to be for Halloween, where residents go haunted hog wild trying to one-up each other with extremely elaborate spooky decorations. This year we've got skeletons scrambling up building facades, a headless chef barbecuing his own damn skull, flying ghosts and giant bats and terrifying mutant spiders. We hear there are teenagers roaming around, too.
