Yesterday Fifth Avenue once again became center stage for the annual Gay Pride March (for the 44th time!), which brought its usual colorful celebration to the streets. The Boy Scouts of America even represented (and in full uniform) this year, which is just one mark of how far we've come since the march began in 1970, part of a reaction to the Stonewall Riots the summer prior.
