Earlier this year a house that's reportedly been featured in the film Eat, Pray, Love—a charming carriage house in Cobble Hill—sold for $6.25 million. Now the Daily News reports that the buyer was singer/songwriter/Brooklyn real estate queen Norah Jones. The paper made two "Feels Like Home" "jokes" in their reportage on this story.
The Pacific Street house was formerly a firehouse, dating back to the 1840s, and contains a wood-burning stove, wood beams, plank floors, and a greenhouse out back.
It's currently configured as a two-unit home, but Jones will be transforming it into one large palace... probably from money made via her adult contemporary pop songs, and not her struggling punk band.
