On Thursday, the decrepit Bronx Borough Courthouse opened up its doors to an art exhibition, When You Cut into the Present the Future Leaks Out . Curated by arts group No Longer Empty, artworks fill the cavernous, once-grand rooms and hallways.

Besides works from artists like Ellen Harvey, Theresa Diehl, Shellyne Rodriguez, Ivan Navarro and many more, No Longer Empty is hosting a number of events in the stunning early 20th century building. For instance, today there's a children/family day, an artists' "virtual" studio tomorrow and a walk through the South Bronx next weekend.

The Bronx Borough Courthouse, located 878 Brook Avenue, at East 161st Street and 3rd Avenue (you can take the 2 or 5 train to 3 Ave-149 St, walk northeast on Third Ave, left onto Brook Ave.). The show, open through July 19, can be viewed Thursday-Sunday, 1-7pm.
