Last week, a Holi Hai celebration turned Midtown East colorful amid skyscrapers. But when you head out into East Flatbush, as we did for yesterday's Festival of Colors, celebrating Holi can get a lot bigger and more boisterous!
Held at C-PAC (Cultural Performing Arts Center), the fourth Festival of Colors is a full-day festival, with art installations, numerous musical acts, many bars and tons of colored (washable, organic) powder. Last year, there are 3,500 attendees and it looks like this year's turnout was pretty close, if not larger.
