The modern remake of Annie has been in development for a while now, with Jay Z and Will Smith attached to produce. It's set in present-day New York, but basically is just one giant advertisement for Citi Bike. Yesterday it was filming in DUMBO (click through for photos), but today the cast and crew has moved up to East 116th Street at 2nd Avenue.

There was a time when Smith spawn Willow was slated to star, but the titular role was eventually given to the very talented (and youngest ever Best Supporting Actress Nominee) Quvenzhané Wallis. Who else is in this moving picture, you ask? Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks (aka Daddy Warbucks)! Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan. Bobby Cannavale as something something Jersey accent something! Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Nash (aka The Asp)! Rose Byrne as Grace Farrell! And, last but not least, Metropolitan Treasure Pat Kiernan makes a cameo—he shot his scenes yesterday, here he is with Foxx by the Manhattan Bridge archway.

Click through the gallery for some shots of Cannavale, Byrne, Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and a homeless guy whose relationship to the film is unclear.
