Yesterday we got very, very happy when it was announced that the Loew's Kings Theater in Flatbush, one of the five grand "Wonder Theaters" of New York, was going to be restored to its former glory. But the thing about movie palaces like the Kings is that even in a state of total disrepair (it has been closed since 1977) their interiors are drop dead gorgeous. But don't take our word for it.

While attending yesterday's presser, photographer Tod Seelie scored a ton of photos of the space (including some classics in the old projection booth). Enjoy!
