The City Reliquary threw its 11th Annual Bike Fetish block party on Havemeyer Street in Williamsburg yesterday afternoon, with a solid turnout of BMXers, tricked-out Schwinns, and fixie gangs.

Notably absent: the Black Label Bike Club and its herd of Mutant Bikes for all to ride, which in years past had been a primary source of the event's entertainment.

But no matter! The BMX squad provided a steady stream of tricks in the intersection on Hope Street, every little kid I saw was having a blast (Bike Fetish had always kind of been like a family-friendly Bike Kill), NY Bike Dance put in an appearance, the Schwinns were all amazing (many have horns that are hilariously elaborate and loud), and trophies were handed out in various categories, including Best Handmade, Best Commuter, and Worst Bike.
