If you like your weekend celebrations filled with sun, boobs, dancing bodies and happy people, you couldn't ask for a better weekend than the one that just passed! We had mermaids, marching dykes, boozing in Brooklyn, the Governors Ball on Randalls Island, and of course, the main event, yesterday's Pride parade. And a year after gay marriage was voted into law in New York State, with Obama's "evolution" still fresh, there was much to celebrate!

Gothamist's own Katie Sokoler was on the scene at Fifth Avenue to catch some of the action and filed the above photos—photos which only give a tiny sense of the absurdly joyful annual celebration. Dancing boys, granny boobs, marching bands, rainbow Storm Troopers, babies, feathers, pasties, thongs—heck, even a bunny in a hat (in a stroller) made an appearance! Not to mention tourists, pols, celebrities (oh, Cyndi), and corporate-sponsored floats (those Time Warner Cable dancers in #34? They got dirrrrrty).
