Selfie-taking subway duo breaks etiquette rules

Last night around 11 p.m. this tuckered out duo decided to make themselves comfortable on the ride home. Are they taking a selfie? Maybe they did it all for the selfie. Anyway, our tipster tells us that as the ride went on, the train got very crowded but they did not bother making room. "Only in New York!"

"They were already on when I got on at Nassau and still on when I got off at Myrtle-Willoughby, it got pretty crowded at Metropolitan and all seats were taken except those, and many people were left standing. One lady even sat on the one closest to the door and the guy didn't even bother to move the wheel so it wasn't almost touching her!"

And don't even get us started on this lady, also spotted last night:

No matter how many times we've gone over this, the subway etiquette rule breakers will always be there to challenge our faith in humanity and test our patience. Sure, sometimes they make us laugh, but usually they're just a glimpse into the dark side.

So it's time to flip the script, do not let them hold the power—next time you see something like this, don't just take a picture and send it to us, politely ask them to move, something our tipster tells us no one did in this case.
