Sure, there are some NYC Marathon entrants who couldn't bear the idea that the 26.2 mile race was still being held in our Hurricane Sandy-ravaged city. But there seem to be others who think that the marathon—which was essentially cancelled at the last minute after intense public backlash—should have gone on even as more bodies are being found.

Ashley Mayo Tweeted this photo from Central Park this morning, "Angry runners are standing under the NYC Marathon's 24-mile mark and holding up their middle fingers."

Now, we all know that runners literally train their butts off to be a part of this race. But tomorrow, not even a week after Sandy, would not have been the time for an event involving over 40,000 runners.
