This year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has arrived in Manhattan, and its cold body currently lay in a state of rigor mortis at the feet of 30 Rock, where they're proudly showing off their trophy kill. Like a toppled elephant felled by a hunter, the tree was in a horizontal position this morning, though a crane hovered over promising to prop it up to make it look lifelike. Weekend at Berntree's amirite?

The massive Norway Spruce comes from Danville, PA, where the Sigafoos family did absolutely nothing to stop the kill. Rumors circulated at the time that the tree was evil, but only one website was reporting that so it's probably not true. But just in case, try to get in by sundown tonight, and lock your doors. If the tree was indeed evil, its spirit has likely made the journey to NYC with the body, and could be roaming our streets right now...
