Yesterday, Tom Cruise was reunited with his six-year-old daughter Suri for the first time since Katie Holmes filed for divorce late last month. And the paparazzi was ready, lining up outside Cruise's Tribeca hotel—The Greenwich—for photographs of the happy father carrying his little girl. But today, Cruise had no patience for the paparazzi.

According to the Daily News, "Cruise — with his 6-year-old daughter Suri in the car — led paparazzi on a perilous high-speed chase along the West Side of Manhattan Wednesday... Cruise’s driver blew through a half-dozen red lights during the frenzied pursuit" from the hotel to "the heliport at 12th Ave and W. 29th St. in a black Chevy Suburban. At least 10 cars, and six bicyclists and motorcycles, followed Cruise during the 20-minute chase — also running the red lights."

Back in 1997, when Princess Diana was chased in a Paris tunnel by paparazzi, Cruise told CNN, "I've actually been in that same tunnel being chased by paparazzis, and they run lights, and they chase you and harass you the whole time. It happens all over the world, and it has certainly gotten worse."
