2006_02_arts_amerstand.jpgAmerican Standard: The Movie is a comedy about a day in the interconnecting lives of young, professional New Yorkers. Sounds pretty standard...however this story is told through the intimate moments that occur within the bathroom walls of apartments, offices, restaurants, and bars throughout the city. We wonder how a film crew can even fit in a NYC bathroom.

You can follow the film as it gets brought from paper to celluloid on the website. In addition, the filmmakers need more props...so if you're in a band, have a website, a book, a store, a clothing line, or anything to promote, they can use it to dress dozens of NYC apartments. On top of that, more bathrooms and more extras are needed...so contact them if you want to get involved. You can probably do so on their myspace page.
