The annual World Naked Bike Ride wound its fleshy way across Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan yesterday. And at least a few people got into the spirit of the event and stripped down to their birthday suits.

For the second year in a row, there was a very small turnout for the start of the event at Grand Ferry Park Saturday afternoon. Photographer Gretchen Robinette, who tagged along with the event to capture the photos above, said she was told some people were hesitant to participate because former participants have been arrested during previous Naked Bike Rides (particularly in 2014).

Overall, she estimated that there were half as many people there this year as last year. One man, who rode up from Philadelphia to participate in the event, said he was shocked by the small turnout, and left the group ride after a couple blocks.

But at least the group included at least one topless woman and a couple completely naked fellows letting it all hang out in the wind as they road through Williamsburg, McCarren Park and Greenpoint, before heading over to lower Manhattan. Check out some NSFW photos above.

And for what it's worth, if you're wondering where the World Naked Bike Ride is still thriving, look across the pond at London where a ton of people of all ages participated in the ride this weekend.
