After the success of his inaugural Spooky Halloween Party in 2014, Mayor Bill de Blasio threw not one, but two Halloween parties at Gracie Mansion last year. This year, the Mayor is doubling tripling down on the festivities: Gracie Mansion is hosting three family-friendly parties during Halloween weekend.
Beginning today, families across the city can enter a ticket giveaway to "enjoy a time of tricks and treats" at Gracie Mansion. You can enter to win up to four tickets online or by calling 311 between today (Friday) at noon and Monday, October 17th at 5 p.m.
This year's festivities include a haunted house tour of Gracie Mansion, face painting, a magic show, and arts and crafts (and trick-or-treating, obviously).

The ticket giveaway is open to NYC residents who are at least 18 years old, and they are encouraged to bring their kids (the event is best suited for kids between the ages of 6 and 10). Winners will be randomly selected and notified by email or phone call.
Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Mayor's Halloween Food Drive benefitting City Harvest. And the mayor's office says "children who reside in homeless shelters and foster care homes will be joining us thanks to our partnership with the Department of Homeless Services and the Administration for Children’s Services."
Winners can choose from one of three time slots:
- Friday, October 28th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, October 29th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sunday, October 30th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
