Hollywood bigwig Harvey Weinstein will not be charged in connection with allegations that he groped a 22-year-old Italian model at the Tribeca Film Center last month.

The woman accused 63-year-old Weinstein of "touch[ing] her private area and her breasts" during a meeting at his office last month. Prosecutors with the Manhattan DA's office have since interviewed her and have declined to file criminal charges against Weinstein. "After analyzing the available evidence, including multiple interviews with both parties, a criminal charge is not supported," DA spokeswoman Joan Vollero said in a sttement.

Tabloids allege Weinstein's accuser initially refused to cooperate with authorities, and that she may have been trying to blackmail Weinstein to nab a film deal. Her attorney maintained last month that "making such a false allegation adds insult to injury causing a duplicity of victimization."
