Steven Spielberg's much anticipated Daniel Day-Lewis-starring film Lincoln is very specifically not being released to the public until after this year's presidential election is wrapped up. But with another "big" competition coming soon after—uh, the Oscars—the movie needs to start getting out there, y'know? And so it happens that the historical drama will be having a surprise world premiere at the New York Film Festival on Monday. And wait, there is more!
In addition to the world premiere, Dreamworks is going to be screening the film at a number of theaters across the county on Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. And afterwards both Spielberg and Day-Lewis will be answering questions about the film from the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13. The fun part? You don't need to be in the audience to ask something. You can simply put your question on Twitter with the hashtag #Lincolnmovie. The whole Q&A will be steamed live over on Yahoo!
So, to get you ready, let's all sit back and ponder how Daniel Day-Lewis sounds as Honest Abe, shall we?
