Gary Busey's scary eyes

Tonight marks the premiere of Comedy Central's new show, I'm With Busey, where a Busey fan hangs with Gary Busey. Phil Gallo of Variety says it might be addicting: "In the first two episodes, much is made of Busey's fascination with Native American culture and eating foods that leave drippings on one's face (oysters, ribs and, what else, roasted donuts). He also gets in touch with his feminine side when he goes clubbing in drag and taps into his own machismo by playing paintball."

The Daily News' David Bianculli is worried there will be a "I'm With O.J." but for now, I'm With Busey is hypnotically watchable. He describes the premise: Imagine a reality show in which a geeky idol worshiper — one who doesn't drive, is allergic to tobacco and whose writing credits include the intentionally juvenile "The Man Show" and "Crank Yankers" — hits the road with Jack Nicholson's character from "The Shining."

That's it, this is what Gothamist is doing tonight at 10PM. Here's a great Gary Busey website, BuseyWorld. And we have to point out Gary's great performance as a Robert Blake-inspired murder suspect in Law & Order.
